Some of you might know the new car, its in fantastic condition & drives like a dream.

Thanks to all of you who gave us support & encouragement over the last few months, its just great to be back behind the wheel of a Griff again.

Nice looking car Nick. Great colour. But I would say that cos mine's red. The old one looks a bit of a mess though. Hope you were ok. How long did it take to settle your insurance claim and find another car? It's the sort of thing we all dread, but interesting to know.

Hiya

We both ended up in hospital after the crash but they just glued the wifes head back on & exrayed us both from head to toe...we were black & blue but very lucky to escape without being too badly hurt. The same couldnt be said for my poor car though.

The claim was a nightmare as I'd let my valuation expire without realising!
As a result the first offer was stupidly low & I had to fight to get close to expectations, it was still £2k down on the valuation that expired in October 2007 but in reality it was about right.

Not an experience I would like to go through again so I will be sorting the valuation paperwork on the new one this week!

Congratulations Nick !! You've got a cracker there.

I had a drive in it before I bought the SE and it certainly is a good one thumbup it was a close call.

( I was gentle with it I promise !! )

Enjoy it,

Simon.

Having been with Nick & Carrie when they picked the car up I can confirm its a 'minter' bow

After being with them at the Le Mans Classic, in obvious pain, with them mourning the loss of their beloved blue Griff & then the subsequent slap in the face by the insurance company it was so good to see that familiar TVR grin reappear bounce

You could almost see the horns growing out of Nick's head as he drove away evilrofl

About time ..

Hope you keep this one in better condition than the
one above. Perhaps the polish you used was too abrasive hehe

New one looks great smile
