Dashboard Veneer?
Discussion
Just wondering about the dashboard finish, the finish on my dashboard is cracked and flaking,on inspection it seems like some kind of epoxy coating thats coloured and printed? to look like wood was this the original finish by the factory?
I know that some people have had their dashes re-veneered at London Carriage Craft and that is real wood veneer, has anyone any comments on this is the finish of a better quality and is it longer lasting?

Surprised to hear that about London Carriage Craft - did they put the job right for you afterwards?
Has anyone tried Classical Dash in High Wycombe, their website says they do a Griff from £202.00 + VAT + Delivery?
I didnt get back in touch with London carraige craft, i should have done in hind sight now, i just couldnt face taking the dash back out again to send it off. I had heard good reports before i used them which was why i went there in the first place. Maybe i was just unlucky, but in saying that though a good quality tradesman should be consistent in my opinion. The dash when i first got it back looked excellent, less than 12 months later though it was lifting in quite a few places. I tried them last year, when I say tried, I mean I phoned them, emailed them numerous times and got no response...... I was trying to give them business but they just did not seem to want it.Got mine done in the end by Tower View who took it out, and put it back in as well.
