Its that time of year again soon.

Can anyone recommend an MOT test centre near Blandford Forum in Dorset?

On a similar note, any ideas on the nearest specialist in case any work does need done?

Cheers,

Pete

I don't know whether these people do MOTs, http://www.redmistsportscars.co.uk, but I'm sure if not they can recommend someone nearby.

Gleaming - I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Looks like it might be worth a visit anyway. I've only recently moved here through work, so don't know the area terribly well yet. Did go for a bit of a drive about to Wimborne and saw three other Tivs on the journey, so they must be getting them serviced and MOT'd somewhere!

Cheers,

Pete

I get my MoT and servicing done at the Haynes Motor Museum workshop at Sparkford just off the A303. Very modern facilities and fair labour rate.

If your just after an MOT then the garage at Combiset on the way to salisbury has done mine before, they have new kit and you can be with the car while there checking.

I'm from salisbury but not seen you about, in the salisbury direction.

To be honest a combination of grim weather, shed loads of work for my the MSc I've just started and some pretty weak minded apathy on my part means the Griff hasn't really been out for about six weeks.

Having just given myself a bloody good listening too in the mirror, I've been out to the garage to discover that my accumate has had some sort of brain fart and the battery is flat. T minus two days until next drive then!

Serves me right for not thrashing the Griff more!
