Interesting pdf the parent link was posted on wedgey forum
That dastardly throttle pot can cause that horrible stumbling people experience at light throttle
as the off idle portion can wear excessively.
I know on my old chim (well it was pretty new at the time), used have to take it out wd 40 and generally abuse the throttle pot out it back in and it seemed to cure most light miss problems
for a couple of months......must be worth knowing for the future.

That was an interesting article about throttle pots, thanks.
I have been thinking of replacing the throttle pot on my '96 Griff 500 to see if it will cure an 'engine missing stumble'. Do I need to source one specifically for my car, from a TVR parts supplier, or is it a fairly generic item that I could source elsewhere?
Thanks.

Thanks 'V8Animal' and 'blitzracing'. Do you happen to know the LR part number for the throttle pot?
Try thesehttp://www.famousfour.co.uk/new_parts/parts-veh-di...
Part number
MA 112202 was ERR 2263
Paddock Spares and Buckley Bros both cheap
Cheers
