Just took the Griff for an MOT yesterday and found that, embarrassingly, it's only done 11 miles in the last 12mths!!!

Anyway I thought, to hell with the fuel prices, and went out for a massive 23mile blast biggrin

I think it must qualify for the least used, roadworthy, car ever!! wink
(In my defence, I have been working away for most of the year though)

What's wrong with #3 in the classified - looks a lovely car and a bargain at £21500?

Granted it's not a griff but.... I sold my chimaera and then bought it back almost exactly 8 years later. Made 16,000 in the deal and it had only covered 3000 miles! I have had to spend a further 5k bringing it back up to a decent standard...

Could there be a reason it's for sale again (or was) ? Is it sold or just off the market again ? Was well priced first time around and didn't sell scratchchin

eta, nearly arranged a trip to belgium to look at it when I bought mine but never made the trip, seems like a cheap car though if it's as good as the photo's look. Wondered why is wasn't picked up by a dealer at that price at the time ??

Buy a Honda Jazz, no point in having that car, you will soon wonder why the battery is
dead the rubber bushes have perished and blame it on the car

Look chaps, I know these SEs were better built & set up than the trad 500s, but for God's sake, THEY NEED TO BE DRIVEN!!!
Mine (no 57) had done 18,000 in 5 years when I bought it, and there were all sorts of issues like hesitation and lack of response at 3,000 revs etc.
All sorted with a bit of TLC from my garage and driving it like it was intended. 7k miles per year later and it feels better than ever.

Doubt many SE's have more than 40k on them .. . Mine's got over 70k and I've hardly used it this yeat, only covering about 9k in it . . . hehe

Then again it hasn't been short of a little bit of maintenance either . . .

The slanting rear number plate is required for Australian compliance as well as a second brake light on the boot. The car had previously been damaged and the owner got different headlights and tail lights.
