...and i have a big problem, the stickers have been on the car for many years and now the parts that were covered are lighter then the overall exposed paintwork...how can I clean around the paint left uncovered and try to give the paint a similar look?

Should i use paintshop ''paste'', other inputs?

Thanks/Giuseppe

you can try a cutting compound or T cut but I doubt you will get rid of it all. frown

Use meguires paint cleaner ideally with polisher. It worked removing a sticker on my car from new. (1996)

Its worth doing the whole car using the 3 step treatment.

I would have a chat with Mike from the Polishing Company before I did anything!

He's a regular feature at the Growl and is an expert in all things paint/polishing. Oh yeah, and he's an all round good guy too.

You might need to cut and paste that!

Dealerships use an ultraviolent gun thingy which helps with this as their cars are frequently covered in stickers hich causes paint differentials.
