Frog in the footwell

Everytime I release my brake pedal I get a squeak that, according to my missus, sounds like a frog - "ribbet"

Now I know I've had a bit of water in there recently, but was wondering if "they all do that sir", or you reckon a squirt of tactically placed WD40 could send him packing?

I would have thought some WD40 would do the trick.

I got this on a Cavalier I had years ago and a squirt or two over the pedal springs sorted it out.

Does it sound a little further towards the front of the car (ie in engine bay). I had a creeky clutch pin (or something like that).. Steve Howard & a pot of copper grease sorted it in 30 mins

I sometimes have a FROG on the passenger seat.

Could be any of the pedals.
