Cold Drivers Footwell
Discussion
If it's like the Cerbera, the cold air comes in through the front and travels up in to the wing and blows on your feet, to cure this, I have put a plastic bag up inside the wing above the wheel arch (the narrowest bit) and then filled the bag with expanding foam, it can all be removed latter if you put a bag in, I have had no problems with this since I did it about 7 years ago.

it should be connected to your auxilary fresh air fan...Sorry I'm assuming you have a 500 here and not a pre-cat? the hot air vent is above your knees.Bluebottle said:

Drove a griff in summer which didnt have it on and the heat was unbearable, but in winter I would imagine it would let alot of cold air in.
Other than that does your car have the extra blower motor on the drivers side? This may be running and sucking cold air straight in. Some 500's have them and some don't, there is an extra blower control under the dash to the right.

Don't assume all 500s' have the fresh air vent. TVR couldn't be arsed to fit one in mine!
Ask TCS to fit one for you, I believe that upgrade was one of his most loved tasks
Can visualize Joo going apoplectic right now
- only joking old chapYour not alone. mine does this too and I’ve never been able to find where it comes from.
Most of the time I just turn the heater up, but I agree that’s doesn’t fix it and on motorway journeys this time of year my leg does get quit cold.
I like the foam in a bag thing, must give that a try.
Cheers,
Simon.

Check that the door fits against the seal at the front. You can check by putting a piece of paper on the seal and shutting the door - it should grip.
Water can get in here and if you are really unlucky the gap may also be higher up the door as well, nearer the quarterlight and it will leak a little when it rains.
