my griff has a wearing propshaft and i have just bought a secondhand one from fleabay

does anyone know who may be able to refurb it for me
i live in west sussex so anyone in the south would be fantastic


advice please

I don't think the U/J's are that expensive or difficult to change smile


Not done it myself though.... Yet wink

I posted the Timken numbers somewhere a while ago (on here / one of the alt parts), if you cant find them I'll dig out the boxes later wink

I just took the old ones to the bearing shop, they measured them up & gave me a pair off the shelf. Seemed to be a common size wink

I replaced the propshaft UJ's on the LandRover - all 4 of them - and its an easy job to do yourself with some simple tools and a good vice.

If you don`t want to do the changing of the joints yourself you could use these people.
Premier Propshafts of Nuneaton.
They can also balance the prop for you which removes any vibrations caused when new joints become misaligned
