Can someone tell me where to find the "Tune" resistor and what it looks like as I've searched all over the loom and inside the ECU and have been unable to find any thing that even vaguely suggests that it's "It". BTW I DO know what a normal resistor actually looks like.;-)

I dont have a pic handy, but if you look at the loom before it goes into the ecu plug you should see or feel a loop of wire, I say feel because sometimes it may be wrapped to the loom with insulation tape, at the top of the loop is the resistor, small plastic cover over tiny resistor about 10mm long.

It'll be connected to the loom by the ECU via a blue plug. Should have white wires between the resistor and plug (5 litre) or green wires (precat).

Well I've stripped all the insulating tape back as far as a flat, blue, blanked off multiplug and found nothing. I would upload a photo but don't know how to on this site.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Cheers.

Can't post pic as can't copy and paste from phone but if you go on The Griffith Pages then click on resources, mods and maintainance, electrical and then on second page there is a huge picture on David beers/mid-wise hot start kit. In the picture u can see the resitor in the clear plastic covering towards the top of the picture.

No resistor simply means it defaults to the catalys fuel map anyway, so thats why its not fitted. Seen this on a few looms.
