Little brake upgrade project is finished
Discussion
At last some forward progress on my Griff... It's all happening this week - new exhaust, the extra-strong rebuilt diff is finished and the new brake upgrade parts are made. (And I bought a Range Rover, but that's another story
)
Big thanks to Lord Grover for getting the brackets and other things made.
Parts for brake upgrade - 324mm discs and Brembo calipers

Testing the caliper bracket on the hub. It fits quite well. Laser cutting parts seems to work well

Parts all assembled so clearances can be checked. I need to remove 1mm from the spacers.

Disc nicely sits in the middle of the caliper when the shims are the right size.

With a bit of luck I will be collecting some Compomotive MO6 wheels next week to fit over the excessive brakes

324! How do you fit those inside your wheels? I fitted the 300mm from Tower View, and they just snag, and had to fit spacers.Gassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
