Has anyone had this problem of their brackets on the wishbone that the drop links attach to splitting on the rear wishbones. Can you buy the brackets seperate to the wishbones ?or will i have to fabricate new ones . Or god forbid buy new wishbones .The metal on these brackets that are welded to the wishbones are not all that thick 3mm or so and they have split right where the drop link bolts on . Any help or advice much appreciated Tom .

Same experience here, top bloke, he had them off the shelf for me and arrived next day. They are the 'Mk2' brackets, and are much stronger build than the std mk1 brackets that for me bent in the middle.

Had mine fixed by a guy at work, and whilst he was at it he added a rod either side of the bracket to strenghten it up a bit to prevent further problems,i took the other side that wasnt broken, and had the same thing done to that one also to prevent it breaking in the future...... probably add some steve heath drop links to finish the job off once and for all...

I need to do both of mine before the spring.

A new rear wishbone is loadsamoney..!!

From memeory when Adrian sent me the pic of the revised mk2 bracket i think they were £25 or so...stand to be corrected though as i can't find the email with the price in it to verify........ way way cheaper than a new wishbone though as long as your original is in good enough condition to repair
