Newbie here from the Dark side.

Most of you who know me will know I am a fan of Chimaera's and organise the annual Roar event which is the Chimaera gathering also open to all TVR's

Well I also have a real soft spot for Griffs and before to long so Ian promises me?????

I will be sitting in my hot newly restored and upgrade Griff thanks to Ian and Ant from Sportmotive.

I really can't wait!

What is this Roar thing?

The annual Chimps tea party is called

ChimPride.

The name works on different levels.

Chimp ride a driving event for Chimps (or where one Chimp mounts another).

Chim Pride A bit like a Gay Pride march, only riding in golf carts instead of walking.

There are other plays on the name too.

Now, let’s have no more of this calling it Roar here in the men’s section.

Ooh you're on sticky ground Fester hehe

Your event (Growl) translates directly into a somewhat interesting discipline (practice of oral sex) in my vocabulary! Does that mean that you lot spend a weekend in Stratford 'sucking up' to each other? tongue outhehe

The ground is only sticky because of all the lager on the floor. That’s the trouble with drinking from proper tumblers I suppose.

It’s more like Hagar the Horrible having a few friends around to the Halls of Valhalla for a ‘quiet’ drink.

We wouldn’t know about such things as those meanings. Golf seems to have a vocabulary all of its own and is lost on us.

The Chimpy penchant for letting Ned the factory hound suck your ‘front end’ and claiming it as ‘style’ says it all.

You have done about all you can to improve that car of yours. But even you can’t make a silk purse out of an ugly pig’s ear. Isn’t it about time you did something about the styling and got a man's car like the Griff?

hehe

Oh God! I am losing the will to live!!! Opinions are like aholes....everyone's got one!!!

'Roar' it will be and it will stay until someone else wishes to take up the challenge of organising the Chimaera gathering.

This event is far from being a 'chimp' or 'pimp' fest, or a boring tyre-kicking parade of chest wigs and egos.

ROLL ON this year to all that enjoy a good laugh for a great cause.

Last year was good, this year will be better.

To all Griff and TVR enthusiasts who wish to park their prick extensions and raise lots of money for a good cause, come along and enjoy!!!

Just remember the Griff and the Chimaera are fundamentally the same car with different face paint...LET THE RANTS BEGIN!!!!!!!!

You will need a bigger boot sunshine!

Im always in Peterborough so we can try your 5 series boot for size.

We may even make it an charity event at Roar this year what do you think!!
