Only trouble is, it's made me want my old Griff back

Agreed! Been out this morning in the Chim and had lots of fun. Why does everyone drive like granny on sunday when there's a bit of snow out? A bit of snow seems to bring this country to its knees...!
Great vid by the way, I may have to go and try that later on... Its been a couple of years since i've taken the chim around a snowy carpark!

If you were in a 50 bhp motor I could understand why you'd be excited by the prospect of some power slides. Haven't you realized that you've got enough power on tap to do this sort of thing any time it rains? In fact pretty much any time from November to March you have to take a lot of care to avoid it.

This is true, but theres something fun about doing it all at such slow speeds... I mean he's pretty much idling all the way through this video allowing you to mess about and try those one handed slides without having to worry about your tyres/crashing/going too fast etc. Of course that doesn't mean it isn't fun when there isn't snow about...!

Have to side with 450Nick and others I'm afraid on this one[/killjoy]
You have clearly not had the dubious pleasure of following behind me on any run outs / tunnel runs / track days - not just in the wet or snow

I am not averse to a bit of sliding around and yet do love my Griff and try to treat it with as much sympathy as I can whilst still enjoying it to the full
Practicing such manouvers in snowy conditions certainly helps to hone the sort of skills required for other situations where you may not be expecting it or just want to have some fun, without undue stress on the transmission, or excess wear on the tyres

I certainly do not "avoid it" at anytime of the year[/killjoy]
Please note this is a November run ... sorry THE November run ( Hi Blues
)http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=89ooLNFwaWk
Maybe shows the diffference between those who are childish and are easily impressed with 50 + bhp and those who don't ( no disrespect intended to any Tamora drivers )
(Please don't bring up the "brings the TVR name into disrupute" argument as I've already been there two years ago )
