I thought that heading would make a few people take notice, not least the mods.
I've noticed a few threads on here recently about old Griffs and found this old advert from a 1973 Autosport magazine. I know the MK2 Sunbeam Tiger is a bit O/T but not as much as you might think, as I believe it shares the same Ford 289 V8 with the Griffith. £1400 seems very cheap for what is probably the TVR that most of us would give their right arm for. 0-60 in 5 seconds must have seemed unreal in the early 70s. You could have bought both these cars for the price of a new Ford Granada GXL in 1973. If only my Granfather had done that instead, because the Granada was practicaly worthless with the petrol crisis looming. Rod Leach must have been one of the lucky few people in the village with a Telephone, looking at the three digit number!

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I already called Rod and he said "it's sold!"
