Re: One of the two round lights close to the front number plate, I have notice the glass has cracked and needs to be replaced. The light itself works fine. Question is.... Do I have to buy the whole replacement lamp and casing? I believe the TVR shop sells the unit for around £90 or is there a way around this? ie replacing just the glass and is this easy to fit? If any body has the glass ( or the unit if it has to be) for sale and going at a sensible price - could they care to contact me? Many thanks! - The car in question a 1995 M reg Griff 500. Paul

Unfortunately the lens and body of the light are bonded together so you need a new unit. I believe they are the same as one of the 3 series BMW's but can't remember which one and don't know if cheaper via that route.

Not all were fitted with the BMW unit. Some were Cibie units.

Have a look at the surviving light for a little name badge in the middle and don't mix the two types.
