Having just been shown how to upload a photograph into a topic, here is a picture, 1 of about 700 of my recently restored grif, just before I had completed it.
Although I love the body shape, a transparent body shell would be perfect, just so that I could see my handywork on a regular basis.

that looks like a very nice job there. i have always wondered though is it better to rebuild the car engine pipes etc etc and then stick the body back or vica versa.
oh any more pics of the restoration process would be great

What I wouldn't give to have that sort of access to clean/scrape/paint.

I can feel a plan coming on.......

I was going to clean, scrape and paint, before I decided to take the body off. To have the outriggers cut away, replaced and then the whole chassis etc sandblasted and nylon coated cost in the region of £1350. It's a superb finish.
I will be uploading many of the photographs when I get the time, that illustrate in detail the whole process from body on to body on.
