What sort of temperature if the fan switch in & out on a griffith 500 .. Be great full to hear...

depends what otter switch is fitted,standard around 90,mine is a lower rated one,fans kick in at 80 ish

Perhaps worth mentioning that the fans and the temperature gauge are independent and driven by separate sensors. If you think the fans are switching at the wrong point it is worth checking with an independent measurement of some sort to see which is wrong.

I actually changed my otter switch yesterday as my griff was running to the edge of the red whilst in traffic, i later tested the old switch which was poor and kicked in at 98*, i have put a 92*-82* in and it works well, i have just ordered from one of my suppliers a 86*-81* switch so we'll see......


Also fitted a new 74* stat
