This site is littered with numerous examples of poor dealer service so I was pleasently surprised when some recent experiences have proved the opposite.

My local supplier Hexham Horseless Carriages have valways been first class for my S3 and Griffith being both friendly and most helpful.

I also own an old 1600M that a while ago required a recond steering rack ordered from David Gerald. This week I noticed a small amount of play on one of the rack ball joints, I suggested to them that to avoid carraige etc. I could adjust the joint myself. By return post came a packet of shims and a lock washer. If they can provide this good old fashion service I would certainly trust them when it comes to more expensive items e.g. another car.

Other excellent suppliers of bits: Steve Heath Engineering and TVR Supplies both sent steering bits by return.

I am sure there are many more and as always "Caveat Emptor"

You reckon that's good!
Neil an Richard from Dulfords have been the proud custodians of my Griff for the last 6 monthsrebuilding the engine doing some mods and paintwork. They have been extremely helpfull from day one,and working to costings that have been supplied to me at every stage ,and providing good advice to any mods so that I have not paid money for things that I haven't needed. That in itself is to be applauded.
Here's the bit that was above the call of duty!Last week I bought a dog from someone that lives in Rochester,I paid a lot of money for him, long story short, those robbing b*******s from BA wanted a grand to ship him from Gatwick to my home in Jersey.Phoned Neil and Richard they have arranged to pick up the dog for me next week and Richard is going to deliver the car and dog on the ferry to me personally.
Customer Service is not dead.
The dog is called Burt by the way!

Another for Hexham,SHENG and TVR Supplies. Also SSCC in Borobridge for helping me when I had suspension problems and Nobles Motorsport in Chesterfield for sorting the mapping out on my car and for taking me for a spin in some sort of mental Noble yikes

Another one for Dulford.

Not just good, dependable, reliable service - but better than God.

When my Griff was there having new gearbox and diff, steering sorted and 12k service they accepted blame for the weather. It was snowing so I couldn't get there to collect as arranged so Richard delivered it for me - 90 fecking miles out of his way, each way!

At this point I feel guilty because I also use Neil Garner and he's damn good too, but on this ocassion I have not given him anything to do - but he's still darn good.
