My new dash layout finally gets made from metal
Discussion
Some of you have in the past laughed at me and my collection of wood-and-hotmelt dashboards.
It was all in a good cause so I could get the steel version right...
The parts are all laser cut from 1.5mm sheet steel by Grover's company from CAD drawings I've spent many hours tinkering with.

Here's the first trial fitting in the car. The button retaining assembly is not fitted yet because I haven't decided if I will veneer the dash or not so I am not gluing the studs on to it yet! I am much happier with the position of the main "tell-tale" indicator lamps between the speedo and tacho instead of being on the panel above the stereo, and the only original gauge that I had to remove for the ECU LCD is the (pointless) voltmeter.
