hello has anyone any tips on how to get the wheels clean on the inside Ive tried several products but not much joy ,autoglym springs to mind but even that didnt work The thing is the wheels are like new they are well kept
its just the inside of the rims thanks

there are a few on sale that are acid based,Auto glym & others . If using them us Rubber glove to keep of hands..Cellulose thinners cleans most of this off if wheels are removed use a old rag smotherd in thinners make sure they havent been refurbed before this could take the paint of the out side if you let it run on the out side.. What you will have is a build up of old brake dust,,, If the car has been tracked it will be even harder to get off as the dust would have been really hot & bitten in to the old paint... Worst way Spit & polish refurb alloys They even collect & deliver,,, Cheers GOLDIE

cheers for that the wheels are like new its only done 20,000 mls its that the inside is just in need of a clean
and not sure what to use dont want to strip the paint

I used 'T' cut, water, several of those plasic souring pads and an awful lot of elbow grease. Came up lovely. Then sprayed cheap hairspray on the inside and now they're wipe off easy to clean. biggrin
