Welcome James,
I bought my first Griff 500 last November. Best thing I have ever done, waited 10 years to do it.
Went on the Herts and Beds run-in to the March monthly meet with over 30 other TVR's. Talk about the Griff Grin, I think it will be fixed for the year.
Are you going to Chatsworth in April?
Enjoy

Hi James, welcome to Pistonheads and congratulations on your choice of car, for a first TVR it doesn't get any better than a Griff 500 in my opinion
There's a hard core of owners on here where you can get some great advice and encouragement. I'd suggest you drive it for a few weeks then make a note of the little things that need seeing to, there'll be some. Oh and regards the battery, you really must get an Accumate (eBay £35) and plug it in when you're not using it, most TVRs will flatten a battery in about two weeks
Cheers Rich... p.s. mine is here www.greenbear.org.uk
