Just paid £295 + VAT for a rebuild including bearings and seals. Done by Dulford Automotive - top job, see my blog.

I paid £300 for my diff rebuild. It was done with solid spacers in order to avoid the use of the silly collapsable things which seem to get upset when you try to put more than 350 ftlbs through the diff...

All done by a local (and highly knowledgable) mechanic friend.

It's now like having a new car.

O/T...
In what way "get upset" - just becomes perminantley all S and no L, or something else?
Curious as I'm getting some pretty strange rear end characteristics at the moment.

By eck you dont hang around!
Could William St help with your diff Alan?
There's a place I used called Wicked Wheels, who did my Tuscan wheels once but not sure yours are of the similar type? The boss (i think) is based in Titchfield and you could probably drop them off there as I did....if he cant help if theyre the older type I'm sure he'll know who can.
