Right then chaps need some help, firstly still cannot sort the cold idle, any one cracked this ???, could do with a look at a map that works. secondly now that i have fitted the dynojet widebands and have them working has anyone played with adaptive V closed loop, was a bit of both on certain speed sites. Also what was the max % swing allowed, hence a look at some working maps would give me some pointers. Thanks for the replies

My cold Idle works fine. Needs a bit of help for the first few seconds and then copes on it’s own. Think the secret is to open the throttle stop a bit wider and then let the ECU back off the speed by adjusting the timing. If you don’t have enough air flowing to start with it will struggle.

Hi Nigel, do you run a stepper motor? Its a lot easier to get a stable cold idle with one. All you really need to do is have the stepper open wider when the engines cold and add a little more fuel using the coolant temp trims, then just balance the AFR using your Dynojet readout.

Can't remember what settings I'm running for adaptive but I'll send you over my map now to have a look at (just remembered!)

i dont have a stepper but the plug is there ready, a picture of the stepper in situ would be useful just so i can see how to mount it,

I did try to adjust fueling from cold last week but still it hunts, now read your email and that looks good and ill have another go

cheers for your help
