Steering shroud switch

I have a fan override fitted to the Griff which is located right behind the steering column under the dash. It's impossible to get to whilst I'm all strapped it (I have harnesses). I want to move it and place a switch in the steering shroud by the stalks. Reckon there's enough room in there ?

Yep should be, put it at the bottom near the Ignition, there is some room around there. I have put and LED there for my fan override switch.

There is as that’s where I put mine, however if you use standard rocker switch from Halford’s et al you will have to position it to one side running front to back. At my first attempt I cut a hole along the back edge only to find when assembled with connectors on the back it didn’t fit. I moved it to the side and no problem, except I now have an L shaped hole in the underside of the shroud, though you can only see it when looking for water leeks etc.
