Ok here's one for the experts!
I have a set of OZ cross spoke alloys from a pre-cat on my 96 Griff instead of the standard Estorils.
The fronts are no problem - the standard long wheels nuts and locking nuts fit no problem.
On the rears I had to get the standard wheel nuts cut down in order to fit under the wheel nut cover plate and I am now looking for some locking nuts suitably short.
Can anyone help/advise please? Were the hubs Ford items? What thread are the studs?
Thanks

Hoover.

My precat doesn't have locking nuts..... it relies on the center hub cover plate which I think is the original set-up.

Fully understand why you would want locking nuts though smile

The halfords ones are shorter than standard nuts. Depends how much you have needed to shorten them though.
