Hi

I've been rebuilding a Griff 500 for 7 years - its almost done , I bought a second hand chassis for it from a 1994 griff 500,
(it was metallic jade green and damaged on the drivers door area). Can anyone tell me if its possible to locate the original number plate for the chassis , I have the stamped chassis number from the front crossmember. Is there a register that could back reference the
orginal DVLA number to this . I've also got the original matching engine number.?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

JIM

Do your home work properly before getting in touch with DVLA.. If you cant get original reg or match engine to chassis they could put the griff on a Q plate..

Try contacting the TVRCC Registrar Grant Crouch (Chuggaboom) and see if he can help.

Thanks for the posts , I'll make contact and see if any trace can be found, it wouldn't be ideal to have a Q plate .
