Driving Light Broke
Discussion
My protectors were fixed with glued Velcro pads. I decided to remove the protector to clean the driving lights - bad idea because instead of the Velcro parting the glue de-bonded and the assembly needs to be stuck together again now.
Probably specified by the same designer who chose the dash-board vents that pop out and dont go back, the dashboard vinyl that shrinks away from the backing and the windscreen seals that separate frim the window. OK I'll stop moaning now.

You can either use superglue or buy more 'velcro dots' - the exhibition trade uses them - no doubt a PHer can send you a few if you ask nicely!
Just a word regarding the covers, have you got the convex or flat lamp lenses on you car?
As an early one they could be convex (domed)if original. The later cars have flat lenses, and the covers are designed to fit these, which they do very well.
I have the convex type on my 4.ltr and had to return the covers I bought as there was no way to practically fit them as the lens curvature was too great.

I found a pack of four in a car accessory shop. I think they were intended for a Capri, but the size is right so what the heck? Each one has three little swivel mounts - so it will stick on a curved front - and velcro so you can remove it for cleaning if you want.
