Ignition Amplifier

I think / hope that the ignition amp is the cause of my hideous misfire.
All the ignition amps that I can find are three wire and my original is a two wire - 1993 pre serp.
Does anyone know if the three wire is a straight swap out for the two and what wiring mods are needed ??
Also, who is the cheapest supplier ??

although i needed a three pin ignition amp
i found the cheapest place was landrover centre on ebay where i paid approx 28 pounds

just make sure you give them the exact details of your dizzy/engine date etc

There is a conversion loom for the later amps. If you get stuck I'm pretty sure I have a spare early one that bolts to the dizzy.

The 3-pin minitimer connector amp is DAB118, and DAB135 is a kit containing DAB118 plus a converter to take the old 2pin lucas spade connectors.

The left pin is the coil -ve and the right pin coil +ve . Get it wrong and it goes pop!
