HALSYAN YELLOW Metallic, Cabriolet, 52,000 miles , 2 Doors. Alloys.2 owners froms new, Blue Hood, Cream Leather, walnut dash, aluminium gearknob and handbrake. Cd player, Full TVR History, Armourfend treated. Balance of after care warranty. Superb throughout. £15,000.

Strikes me as pretty damn cheap even for that mileage. Anyone been to check it out or know of it?

Cheers,

Anyway barring the numptie dealers inability to spell, anyone know this car? Can't say yellow is a first choice but at that price if it was in good nick I'd be damn tempted!!

Cheers,
Rob

I don't but the bit about 'Cabriolet' and '2 Doors' tells me this is no TVR dealer!

(NB Thought Halcyon was grey?)

I'd want an HPI check and a good look round before parting with the beer vouchers. Much too cheap.

autotrader puts those 2doors and cabriolet things in, it's a "tick all boxes which apply" type thing.

sounds good .. gotta be worth 15k if it's not bent / stolen / etc

Definitely not a TVR dealer! Jap import place it seems. Probably zero experience with TVRs but I would've thought they'd've checked on Autotrader for similar cars to get a price range, the next S reg I can see comes in at £21995. One suspects this one might have a certain HPI cat rating in it's past.

Cheers,
Rob

'If it sounds too good to be true....' etc. Still, worth a look I suppose, just to make sure.

May be cheap because of the colour combo, making it difficult to shift! I don't think cream leather really suits a yellow car!

When the inside and outside colours don't seem to fit, I smell a respray. And then I wonder why.

it's just that in those days they only had black and white photos

As far as the car is concerned... Whats wrong with Yellow!!

...though it has to be said I would be put off with a cream interior. It's not necessarily a respray job, i have seen a yellow griff with a blue roof, blue alloys (which looked ok surprisingly) but with magnolia trim, which really wasn't my taste... IMHO of course

I'd be interested to hear what's behind this.

Don't worry B19GRR I'm not trying to gazump you, I won't be ready to start looking seriously for a couple of months but I am intrigued.

I like yellow too (but not with a cream interior)

Certainly nothing wrong with yellow! It's one of my favorite colours in my (biased)opinion!

Oh, anyone's welcome to gazzump away. I've just had a fantastic day at Elvington in the Liz so the decision has just got really hard!

Anyway I've dropped the dealer an email, not heard back yet though. I still suspect a Cat-D repair job though.

Have we got anyone on the board who could run a HPI check for free, save me £30?

Cheers,
Rob

Its been at £15K for ages too.
I check all the better Griff selling sites daily, for obvious reasons.

I assumed there would be a good reason why this car was priced so low and so didn't even enquire.
Well, that I too didn't like the colour combo.

The interesting thing is that if you price a car at £18K people are interested; if you price it at £15 they're not. I know why, but it's bizarre.

Now, do I hear £3K for my old Sony telly?
