Large bore plenum - would you recommend it?

I'm just considering whether the large bore plenum (throttle opening) is a recommended mod. I've got Big Valve heads, smooth bore induction elbow, standard AFM, thermal insulator on the trumpet base.

What's the current thinking in terms of bore (72mm?)

Finally, any recommendations on where you'd get the work done and set up correctly? Somewhere around the Midlands or the north Home Counties would work well for me.

Yes, but it does need other mods to make the most of it (but you have to start somewhere, so why not here...).

a good move, if you are handy with the spanners fit it yourself, very simple job, then just pop along and have a tune up at your localdealer/indie if needs be.

You have some of the elements needed to take advantage of the large bore plenum already so I'd go for it and as LG has suggested talk to Eann at TorqueV8
