Griff 500 Propshaft Bolts

Does anyone know what the propshaft bolts are off? (t5)

Had to cut one off as the head was rounded

Afraid I can't help with what they are off but I doubt they are particularly unusual. I see you are in Scotland so don;t know how close you are to a TVR garage.

Can you not take one of the others down to a local garage or parts shop and see if they can match it? Also try a propshaft or gearbox refurbishment place, they probably carry a stock of suitable nuts and bolts.

not so helpful then, I think they are a UNF thread, but unsure as to the exact size, try whats already mentioned above, hope you get it sorted.

I bought 2" long 3/8" UNF bolts with a shank length of 20mm and cut them to the right length. This is with a T5 gearbox, GKN diff, and the speedo trigger ring between the flanges. Other combinations may require a different shank length.

Why not take one down to a local bolt specialist shop ..

Don't forget it need to be very strong .. cant remember the tensile grade
but it's on the bolt.
