Wet left foot

Not too bothered about it as I don't tend to drive in the wet however when I do and the rain is reasonably heavy I get a wet left foot - right one is dry as a bone, footwell doesn't get much either, my foot is soaking it all up .

Both clutch and brake pedal seem dry and remain dry up to footwell wall, no water from the footwell vent and the seal around the brake fluid reservoir seal appears intact.

If it is from a poor windscreen seal, which I've seen reported and may be the issue, where would the water appear?

Looking at your profile, you have a precat.

I would guess that the water is coming in around the footwell air vent, this means it may need sealing around the pipe which feeds this vent, behind the engine.

It is possible to get at, but you may need small hands!

I'll take a look, thanks - and the Mrs has the hands of a child, she will be pleased....
