Picked it up from Peninsula today. Drives like a different car! It is no longer wandering all over the road or twitchy and feels sooooo sharp in the corners. Mind you, it should do, it cost me 1400 notes. Cost breakdown:

6000k service (+ new gearbox oil and new clutch fluid)
New radiator (wish I'd had enough cash for the ally one they look sooooo good )
Recon steering rack
New track rod ends
6 new bushes - OSF upper and lower, NSF lower
Door + window alignment
Rear pads
Full engine tune/diagnostics
Fix leak in footwell
Lots of little bits (hoses, clips, plugs, fluids etc etc)

Sounds like a lot of money but I knew that most of these jobs needed doing before I bought it so negotiated a good price origionally. If anyone wants a breakdown of these costs (e.g how much for a new fitted rad) let me know.

Jamie,

It sounds as though you are pleased with the result.

As for the price, well, if it puts a on your face each time you jump in and drive it then its money well spent in my view. Enjoy !

Some of the work I could have done myself (leak, door/window alignment, pads, possibly bushes) but it would have taken me ages (especially the bushes). I've done the work myself on all my previous cars but in the end I just couldnt be arsed and thought I'd pay someone to do it for a change.
