Headlamps going out

Recently replaced main beam lower lamp. Since then when I use full beam the headlights go out. What's going on?

What happens when you use dip? Did you disconnect any of the other wiring?

They're wired slightly unusually in that dip and main use different fuses IIRC!!!

Dip's fine. I didn't do it myself so don't know but I'd be surprised if they changed anything else...

They've wired them "either/or" instead of "and" somehow. Most cars run either/or for dip functionality but the Griff just brings a second circuit into play for the mains. Think you'll need to speak to them of get the multimeter out IMO.

my precat had an issue with dips/high beam/flashing...... must be the time in their lifes to have a turn.

I could not put my high beams on (bottom lights) with the engine running and main/side lights on, could flash when no lights on. However with the ngine not running I could have the lights on and flash.....

turned out to be some broken wires at the back of the fuse board.

had that sorted... then my indicators packed up, turned out more broken cables.... all fixed now
