MOT passed today. Nearly ready for the Growl.

Had a bit of fun getting through the emissions test. For some reason, a cat in the boot doesn't do much for removing CO

The car managed 0.21% CO, 135ppm HC and lambda=1.095 on the fast idle (which just passes)
and 0.378% CO on natural idle which also passes.

I think I finally got to the bottom of the running problems which have been annoying me for the past 3 months. I just hope it carries on working for the Growl now.

good to hear..... always interested in seeing what crazy things you've done to the car.

Running on 5 random cylinders at idle was the main problem... Fixing the injector voltage compensation and opening model parameters worked wonders, along with a new set of spark plugs.

I've not managed much crazyness this year. Only new wheels and brakes.

Normal? Looks special to me... especially the ECU LCD. Have you decided to get it veneered?

It's normal compared to last year's dash!

It's going to be veneered, but it's not at the moment. I brushed and clear laquered it for the time being.
