Help- Damperless...!

Slightly peculiar request this one buit here we go...

Having despatched the buggy to be checked last week it transpired that one of the front dampers had colapsed (no idea when) and hence the best option was rebuilding for which it needed to be sent ot Germany.

Unfortunately the numb skulls at parcel force managed to muck up the delivery and hence the parts have only just arrived (despite being sent via the uber-expensive delivery option)

This causes me a big issue as I am going to the Nurburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix next weekend and there is no way the dampers can be rebuilt and returned in that time

There are essentially three options here:-

1) Pay for a new set of dampers (at £700 a pop no thanks)
2) See if I can obtain a standard set of dampers from somewhere (having read recent insurance scare stories about the ring I probably won't go round it so this is less of a concern)
3) Go in my BMW Estate...

Simple cheeky question- does anyone out there have (or know where I might be able to find) a set of dampers that I could rent or buy (if second hand). I'd rather not shell out a huge quantity of cash given that I will be geting my freshly rebuilt Intrax jobbies back shortly after the trip.

I just wondered if anyone had a set lying around or have any of you guys got any other ideas?

Having bought the tickets I will definitely go out whatever happens but is there any way that I can avoid going in a BMW Estate...?

Have a set your can borrow free.. Second hand 20K miles Just need bolting in about an hour.......Hope these help... ps They are in London

Hopefully you've got this sorted George500 but I'm travelling down to London on Monday and visiting the Growl at the weekend, so if there is anything I can do in terms of picking stuff up at the Growl and bringing it down to London please give me a shout.
