Griffith driving lights?
Discussion
Hello looking for some advice here.
i;ve spent several days ringing round trying to locate a new driving lighgt as my old one is smashed, after speaking to cibie they say they can only supply them to TVR, after speaking to my local TVR main dealer they say there haven't been able to get them for months and it could be several months till they find a new supplier.
Anyone bought one recently? as my MOT is fast appoaching and i'm running out of ideas.
Thanks!

You could use the Ring round (they do a variety of shapes)driving lamps. They take a bit of work (drilling 3 holes in the back and using the adjusting screws off the old ones). But as they are £15 for both they are a lot cheaper. They fit OK too - about 7mm further forward but not enough so that anyone notices. Now if they get bust its a quick, cheap job to replace them

believe there is no problem getting cracked lights through MOT as long as the beam pattern meets the testing requirements
Yes, that is certainly my experience. It's one of those objective areas that can depend on where you go, I think.
