Cheap Cerbera's

Love Cerbera's, like the look, the sound and the performance but decided to buy a Griff due to better (potentially) reliability and lower running costs. I could go on....
Now, not wishing to wind any Cerby owners up (hence posting here ;-)) but have you seen how cheap they are????!
It made me think that Griff prices are holding quite well but most importantly, what about the owners that these are now starting to potentially attract. At the prices advertised, they represent stonking performance per pound but will people in the market for a £8k -£12k car realise how much they will need to set aside for servicing? I'd put Tuscan's in the same category.
I can see a time when a lot of owners have bought (cheaply) into the dream, only to have a shock at the cost of upkeep. Inevitably, this is going to lead to a lot of neglected cars that come back onto the market ;-(

Having just bought a cerb I must agree that for the performance the cars are pretty cheep to buy but I would advise anybody buying one to be very careful when doing so. I looked at quite a few before buying mine and there are some shocking motors out there.I cant really say how much they are to run yet as I havent had it long enough but it is in a different league in terms of power compared with my chim.Its not scary but it does get to high speeds with very little effort.I cant even say one is better than the other as they are such different cars but I would say an abbused cerb will cost a lot more to put right than an abbused griff or chim.

The servicing is cheap if you drp an LS into the Cerb... 100k service intervals... Change the plugs at 50k...
Marketing for lazy American drivers at its best. My BMW and VW only require a plug change at 60k. What about the oil changes? Are they not a service? 
Obviously its still loads cheaper to maintain than an AJP engine.
