Santa bought me one of these. Very nice thought considering the effort I usually put in to polishing my Griffith 0 but I'm a bit worried about scratching the paintwork. Do I use it and smile or ask for a receipt?

Cheers
Joe

I use one on my "S" no scratches, just make darn sure when using any polisher the car is clean AND the polish cloth is also clean

Sorry for the hijack...

Rather than use the 12V thingy, try using a finish polish (like a top sealing coat), no names here but I have tried two available from any car accessory store and they are brilliant...just wipe on and wipe off..no hard work!

Be very careful with any mechanical polishers.I have known a few people get carried away with these and burn or wear the paint away particuly on corners and edges (not many on a Griff I know).

Had the mains powered Halfords one - worked very well until I used it to sort out my boat....

But good news is that B&Q have a slightly better mains one on Christmas sale at the moment for £19.99 - got mine on Sunday
