Having just spent nigh on £2000 getting the car sorted only 1 month after having bought it, and suffering a belt shred itself on Monday night causing me to leave the car at a friends workshop carpark....some malcious, underendowed, pondscum f

Try to find a way to get it sorted and do not let them put you off. May sound strange but once it is back to A1 you will have bonded with the car even more.
Happened to me many many years ago with my Healey and I still have it!!

That is not nice, feel for you dude. Little fkers need stringing up and left to rot.
Trying to be positive here. But it looks like it's only paint work damage, albeit rather bad, they could have slashed the rear screen, damaged inside etc, which would have been terrible.
The bootlid itself does not look compromised, so a lick of paint and it will be back to as it were before.
Understand you are more than upset though. I'd be ready to commit murder.
Hope you get it sorted.

..... Jesus that's horrible. My sympathy, seeing those pictures gave me a horrible sinking feeling in my stomach I can't imagine how you felt when you saw it. Mindless, I agree with the sentiment of agreeing with some of the punishments that would be dealt out in Saudi or similar for something like that.
