No, that's as far as I went replacing the carpets. And yes, that is sound deadening foam all over.

Also bought mine from Coverdale carpets & found them an excellent firm to deal with.

Dont be tempted to buy carpet off the roll and cut it yourself, I did this and regretted it. By the time I had paid to have the edges bound the cost was similar and was not worth the hassle. A tip: the spray glue that Coverdale sell is excellent but the glue solvent/remover I found a waste of time. White spirit worked very much better.
