Heater matrix pipes

Just reconnecting the matrix pipes, am i correct in thinking the feed/inlet pipe is the one from the inlet manifold/thermostat ?

Yes the return goes to the swan neck (suction side of pump)

Outlet from matrix still getting warm


I notice the metal feed/return pipes are insulted together so i'm going to wrap them separately & check the HCV again although the tippex marks i put on a few years ago are still lined up !!
