wiring diagram / schematic

All, after a period of my battery going flat I've now the use of all gauges and oil and alernator warning lamps. Does anyone have a wiring diagram as I need to start delving.

There's a wiring diagram in the bible, though it's thought of as more of a wiring guide.

Cheers for that - I think it's a feed to the dash as pretty much all of that's gone. Engine still starts and runs fine. I looked through the bible and didn't see a wiring diagram - I'll take a look again.

There are several wiring diags in the bible, the main one on pp270/1 in my copy.

If you lift the dash out you will see there is a permanent live to the dash(single large red), and also a switched live(single green).
These are easy to find in the dash connecting plugs and at least it gives you a start point.

I have my dash out at the moment, so if you need any comparison checks just mail me.

Pretty sure there is a fuse marked up as "dashboard" in the handbook.

IIRC ignore the red one, its olny used for the clock. Can't be sure, but have a feeling the dash green is chained from that aux relay panel with the indicator relays if you have it?

The red supplies the Light switch, clock,hazards,interior light under glovebox,radio permanent live.
So if they are working ,as Dave says you can rule it out.

Does the boot open solenoid still work ? On mine the instruments share a fuse with the boot open circuit.

Some precats have the boot opener circuit supply live all the time, some only with ignition on....
