spark plug extensions

I would like to know the difference between Spark plug end caps
pasifated / gold type suppressed (EO142) suggested by TVRSHOP and non suppressed like Beru for example ?

What are the best : non resisted ? or resisted ?

Tim from ACT informed me that that "Non resisted, this is best you don't want to add resistance, the resisted ones are a Vauxhall unit"

But it seems suppressed cap stops any intererence to car's sound system. If it is true, it is important in my case since I have a huge hifi system.

I fitted Tim's plug extenders a few weeks ago and I get zero interference from them on my sound system.

I do however get interference when the rad fans come on. looking for a solution for this.

Do you mean you get interference just as it switches on, or continuous interference as long as the fans are running? If it's continuous interference, that's not normal but you might be able to improve it by separating the fan supply from the radio supply. If all else fails you could probably fit a suppressor across the motor.

The buzz is only when I am listening to the radio, I don't hear it in the CD or auxiliary modes.

The noise starts as the fans come on and stays until the fans go off.

I have been thinking about a suppressor but I am unsure about how to fit one, does it just sit in-line on the live feed to the fan motors?

Grateful for any advise on what suppressor I need and how to fit it correctly.

I have what Tim recommends, in fact I bought them from him at the Growl.

I don't listen to the ICE in my car very often, but when I do there is no interference other than the lovely V8 rumble and exhaust tone.
