Help - what is this mystery knob?
Discussion
Can anyone tell me what this knob does?
It is underneath the lighting stalk on my 1997 Griffith 500 and it seems to be a potentiometer that can be twisted through 3/4 of a turn. I assumed that it would dim the dashboard lights or something like that but it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe it isn't even supposed to be connected to anything - I can't find any mention of it in the bible. It has bugged me for about four months now so any info gratefully received.

Dim the dash lights? Apart from the bulb for the full beam indication, all the displays on my Grif are pretty craply illuminated anyway. Who's idea was it illuminate black dials with a green bulb? Besides, you do have the facility to turn 'em off alltogether when you dont want any distractions down those twisting country lanes
Does anyone know what the vauxhall part number is for the intermittent delay switch? The spade connections have busted on mine and I need a new one.
