Manifold questions

Are 4.0 and 5.0ltr Exhaust manifolds the same for the chimp griffith etc.

Yes, but there are some early variations ( precat models, models with bolt up flanges then the later & commonplace clamped flanges).

JFYI the Y pieces seem interchangeable, but do seen to vary in the length of the bit that connects into the exhaust (a MMV experience when removing Y-piece - some come out others need the exhaust dropped). Never really been sure if this was model specific or just hit/miss...

Thanks for that I have just bought a pair from ebay but they were listed as 4.0 ones so just wanted to check.
Gonna get the cats out of these stick em on the Griff. Wasn't sure if I would be happy with the extra noise so wanted to be able to reverse the job if needed. Will sell of my manifolds then if I am happy with the results if that makes sense.

Just one more question will the lamba sensors be the same? I guess they will but no harm asking.

Yes the lambda bosses are in the same place and same thread, except of course pre-cat versions which don't have them at all. Aftermarket versions may vary of course?
