Have any of you tried them on a 5ltr engine? Can they be swapped into an engine with stock cams and still give that extra grunt?

Are they a direct bolt in swap?

Price at around 1.200 pounds seem atractive.

Thanks.

IIRC Ex Manifolds are different (raised).

At the end of the day they are better than std LR Heads, but whether they even perform as well as TVR 500 heads is not certain.

The RS test on a 5l stroked block wasn't exactly stirring compared to many TVR engines?

There is of course scope to develop them further, and the same could also be said for the TA heads (which IMHO look a better long term option - TA have much more buick trick valve gear that will fit their heads?)... TBH I can't really see the point of developing heads without also making a matching inlet manifold?

IMHO with a little tidying work TVR BV heads must be good for around 400bhp, its still the manifold & plenum that are holding them back.

I have the ACT triple carbon plenum and intake with carbon trumpets...I thought Rover heads was an old design...

What's the problemwith the Merlin raised exahust? Real steel seem to advertise them as a direct bolt in application...
