Heater motor fan?

Could anyone tell me what this big black box is on my '97 Griff? Looks like it might be the heater motor fan but I thought this was beneath the N/S headlamp pod.

Also where is the fuel injection cut off switch, I believe it's in the same vicinity but couldn't see it?

The black box is part of the heater. It contains the matrix and various flaps to direct the air. The fuel cut switch is attached to the front of this box. It's the thing with the yellow wires attached.

Thanks for that, I thought the electical connection was for the fan, didn't realise it was the inertia switch.
Still interested to know which Griffs have the fan motor under the N/S headlamp - would it be the pre-cats?

Yes the precats had the heater fan mounted under the NS headlamp.

Thanks Ant, Would have been most upset to have removed the headlight pod only to find it wasn't there!
