Hi all, I have a Chimaera 400 at the moment and I'm off to view a Griff 500 (98 R with 37,000 miles) on Saturday.

Apart from making sure it has a full service history etc, are there any major faults to look out for?

just trouble

Hello Freddie. First things first. Check the NUT behind the wheel. Having seen this particular nut up close I would not recomend it.

Freddie's about to become "honest" and get a real car The best advice i can give you is to ask Richard, pre saturday lunchtime before he heads off to Newquay for the"pre xmas bash".He'll tell you straight. I'll be there at Peninsula at high noon to collect the beast, she's ready,YAHOOO!!!!zz

I wouldn't rush if I was you.... I have it on good authority (Just trouble) that at 4pm your car was still in bits over the garage floor, with a 17 Year old apprentice getting some experience on older models. Still I'm sure they will lend you the 205 or Nissan if it's not ready
